Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Bluefox Software, a sole proprietorship in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us"), for your use of Look-through. By using Look-through, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Look-through. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

• You must be at least 16, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
• Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at privacy@bluefox.software if you think someone else has used your account.
• An account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens under it.

Using Look-through

You agree not to:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it;
• infringe anyone's rights, or harass, threaten or deceive anyone;
• send malware, or anything you have no right to share;
• try to get into accounts or systems that are not yours, or probe, scan or test our security without our written permission;
• overload or disrupt the service, or access it by automated means other than the ones we provide;
• resell, copy or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it.

Information, not advice

Look-through shows what the funds you type hold, worked out from each fund's own published holdings on the date shown, and from the unit prices those funds publish. It is general information. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Holdings change every day and our figures can be wrong or out of date; check a fund's own documents before you rely on them. We are not affiliated with any fund company named on the site.

Assistants acting for you

You can let an AI assistant use Look-through on your behalf. What it does with the access you give it is treated as done by you. You can revoke that access by writing to us, or by changing your password.

The service

We may change, add or remove features. We will try to give notice before a change that takes away something you rely on. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or to protect other people or the service; where we can, we will tell you why first.

You can stop using Look-through at any time. To delete an account, write to privacy@bluefox.software.

No warranty

Look-through is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and you should keep your own copy of anything important.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability to you for any claim about Look-through is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim, and CA$100. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have as a consumer that the law says cannot be limited.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia decide any dispute about them, unless the law of the place where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We will post any change here with a new date. If it matters to you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Using Look-through after that means you accept the new terms.
